Hello Sunflower class,

Well, what an exciting week! We received a letter from the wolf telling us where he has been in school. Can you believe he has been in our classroom? Did you see him? We have written letters, drawn maps and made traps to try and get him, no luck yet but maybe next week.

We've also been learning about halving which we practised when we made our sandwiches. Can you find half of these numbers?

4, 6, 8, 10, 12.

We're beginning to look at doubles. Can you double these numbers?

3, 6, 9, 10.

Next week, we're moving onto a different story. Can you guess what it is from the clue below?

We have a new story in Sunflower class. We are now reading The Three Little Pigs. Mademoiselle Stella read the story to us in Spanish and we also read it in Polish with some of the children in Sunflower class translating for us.

We've also built houses and then seen how easy it is to 'huff and puff' and blow them down. Can you remember which type of house was blown down easily? Which was the strongest?
